According to a May 14 report by RIA Novosti, the Russian Agricultural Products Export Center (RAPEC) under the Russian Ministry of Agriculture cited Chinese data to say that Russian ice cream exports to China in the first quarter of 2024 increased five-fold.
Russian Agricultural Products Export Center in the "Telegraph" channel released a message said: "In the first quarter of 2024, Russia exported more than 276 tons of ice cream to China, compared with the same period last year, an increase of five times."
In 2023, Russia's ice cream exports to China amounted to 392 tons, accounting for more than 70% of the total cold drink exports in that year. Russia is among the top 10 ice cream exporters to China.
