RE:China's imports and exports to other RCEP members grow steadily

According to customs statistics, in the first five months of this year, China's import and export to other member countries of the RCEP ("Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement") 5.11 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.5%, to other member countries of the RCEP trade accounted for more than 30% of China's foreign trade.  From June 2, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) came into full effect for 15 member countries, the world's largest FTA has entered a new phase of full implementation, bringing more business opportunities and benefits to enterprises.From January to May, Nanjing Customs issued a total of 42,400 RCEP certificates of origin, with an export value of 13.303 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 56.52% and 20.54%, and it is estimated that enterprises can enjoy tariff preferences in the destination countries of 1.99 trillion yuan. It is expected that enterprises can enjoy tariff concessions of 199 million yuan from the destination countries. In the first half of the year, Dongguan Customs, a subsidiary of Huangpu Customs, issued a total of 7,691 RCEP certificates with a value of 1.653 billion yuan of benefited goods, an increase of 72.9% and 38.6% year-on-year, and enterprises are expected to enjoy tariff concessions of more than 10.66 million yuan.  The relevant person in charge of the General Administration of Customs said that it will resolutely do a good job in the implementation of RCEP deployment, and further play the role of the agreement in stabilizing foreign trade and foreign investment, promoting industrial chain supply chain cooperation, and promoting high-quality development, etc., and guide enterprises to comprehensively understand and make full use of the policy dividends of the RCEP, and help enterprises to further develop the RCEP market."
