According to Ctrip data, the average one-way price of two-class air tickets during May Day was 2,443 yuan, with orders increasing by nearly 80% compared to the same period in 2019.
More travelers who pay attention to quality and convenience also choose chartered air travel, it is understood that the "May Day" period Ctrip business aircraft charter orders are mostly domestic to Koh Samui, Naha, Maldives and other island destinations.
And from the overall order volume, Ctrip platform "May Day" mainland outbound travel orders increased by nearly 700% compared to the same period last year, outbound airline tickets and hotel orders increased by nearly 900% and 450% respectively compared to the same period in 2022.
Closer Asian countries and regions are the first choice of mainland outbound travelers. According to Ctrip air ticket data, nearly 70% of outbound intentions are concentrated in Southeast Asia. Hong Kong, China, Bangkok, Macau, China, Singapore, Phuket, Seoul, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, Chinese Taipei and other places have become popular destinations for outbound travel during this year's May Day holiday. The air tickets and hotel orders of many of these places exceeded the level of the 2019 "May Day" holiday.
